                        It gives me immense pleasure to bring out the News Letter 2017-18 of  KV, AFS,  Hakimpet which portrays the latent talents of our little creative minds. Senior PRT  and other Primary Teachers of our Vidyalaya had planned the CMP Activities, CCA Activities and Class Room Activities to develop creative skills and overall development of mind, body and character among the budding bloomers. The children are motivated and trained to participate in various activities and excel in their learning practices and achieve their goals.

                     I appreciate my Primary Teachers and students who have put their efforts to make this NEWS LETTER to depict the success story of our Vidyalaya.

           To achieve the goal of Education,  Kendriya Vidyalaya Sanghatan has implemented the Common Minimum Programme. The efforts of dedicated teachers, ever enthusiastic, constructive and creative activities of the children   are reflected  in the News Letter.

EDITIORIAL

Hearty welcome to our CMP News  Letter.  Foundation of character building starts at budding stage. Keeping this in mind our Vidyalaya planned CMP  activities to bring about holistic development among the Primary children. Our CMP News Letter  reflects the participation and achievements of students with teachers support to reach their goal. Wish you an enjoyable reading.

  

CMP INITIATIVES

 

 

 

Kendriya Vidyalaya  Sangathan  has implemented Common Minimum Programme  to bring out  various hidden talents and  skills from the budding achievers. To remove the inhibitions and develop confidence to grow into a complete individual CMP is being followed in our Vidyalaya under the able guidance of our Principal Mrs. D.V.Sandhya. 

A well planned programme of CMP activities that have been taken up by our Primary Section during the academic year 2017-18 are as follows.

·         Time table is made by following the guidelines given by KVS norms.

·         Block periods are allotted for scholastic subjects, library and Film shows.

·         CAL / TAL Classes are allotted in the time table and taken up by the teachers in the Resource Room and in Junior Computer Lab to make the teaching – learning  process more interesting and effective.

·         As a part of Value Education , selected CD s from Children’s  Film Society were played during Film shows were planned fortnightly.

·         Subject committee meetings were conducted  on the last working day of every  month to strengthen the teachers in content and to share their experience and solutions for the problems they face  in class-room situations.

·         Students from classes  III- V were taken to educational trip  to Golconda Fort on 24th November 2017 under the Paryatan Parv to aware of our culture and heritage.

·         Students from classes I-V were taken to Rashtrapati Nilayam  on 12th January 2018 to observe various kinds of flora  and fauna and rare plants in the Herbal Garden.

·         Various curricular and co-curricular , games and sports events were conducted to develop life skills among the children and Certificatees and Prizes were given to the winners at Vidyalaya level.

·         Bal Diwas was celebrated on 14th November 2017 . Many children participated in theme based Fancy dress competition .followed by community lunch.

·         On 14th  November 2017  Grand Parent’s Day was celebrated with great pomp and show to inculcate values and develop respect and care for old people and grandparents.

·         The programme of Community Lunch is organized on 21st November to develop the skills and value of sharing and caring.

·         As response to the Honourable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s “ Swachch Bharat” campaign  all the Primary children and teachers cleaned the class rooms and School compound time to time.

·         All the primary children had medical checkup twice during the academic session.MMR vaccination was given to all the students .

·         Parent –Teacher Meetings were taken up after the exams to discuss the progress of their wards.

·         On Saturdays ,orientation programme was conducted for New recruites by Sr.Teachers.

·         Under Scouts and  Guides movement Chaturdh charan and Heerak Pankh testing camp was held on 18th November 2017 at Vidyalaya level and six Bulbuls and six cubs attended Cub-Bulbul Utsav held at KV, Kanchabagh  from 24th November to 26th November 2017.
